Lodge Dinner 2005.....

LODGE ANNUAL DINNER ANOTHER GREAT SUCCESS!

We just had another awesome Lodge Dinner (and Brotherhood Ceremony). We had a large turnout this year, 65 members and guests. The food was again delicious, with great pumkin pie.

GUEST SPEAKER BOBBY TEEBAY

The highlight of the dinner was our guest speaker this year, Bobby Teebay. Bobby is an Army vet from Iraq. Bobby spoke about the war in Iraq , his training, and his experiences as a tank driver. The lodge was rivited as he spoke, and we got to see his gas mask and a piece of shrapnel from a bomb that damaged his Humvee.

The Founder's Award, was presented to Chris Lee Sr., for his continuing contributions to the Lodge, Troop 6, and the Piedmont Council. Chris is an inspiration to all of us, and he truely represents the best of the Brotherhood of Cheerful Service.

Afterwards, we had a great Brotherhood Ceremony performed by our ceremonies team (who else?) which inducted 5 members into the honor of Brotherhood.
