Words from the Outgoing Chief

Dear Lodge,
As a quick note from your outgoing chief, I'd like to thank everyone for a great year of scouting. I had a great time getting to lead you guys at the ordeal and other events. I have great confidence that Edward will be a great chief and will do a good job leading us in this upcoming year. I have high hopes for the future of the lodge.

Past Chief,
Ayden R.

Words from the Incoming Chief

Hello fellow Arrowmen
It's a new year and I am happy to take the torch from Ayden. I hope that this year will gain as many new members as the last and overall be just as good. Although I'm busy, I will still do my best to fulfill my responsibilities to the lodge. I hope to see everyone at the Ordeals and at Conclave. If you have any questions or concerns please call me or contact me via my email, Chief@OA466.org.
Yours in Scouting,
Edward H.

Congratulations to Jeff Lindenmuth and Ayden R. on the completion of their Vigil!

2017 Officer Elections

At the Council Camporee....

As is now a new tradition, Piedmont’s Hungteetsepoppi Lodge held their annual officer elections at the Camporee’s closing campfire to elect a new Lodge Chief and lodge officers for the next year. Once all the troops had finished presenting their skits and songs and had head back to their respective campsites, the arrowmen of Hungteetsepoppi lodge remained by the fire and gathered for the annual officer election. Lodge Chief Ayden R. lead the group in the election of four new officers:
Edward H, out new Lodge Chief
Vice Chief of Membership=Alfred T.
Vice Chief of Communications and Finance=Griffin A.
Vice Chief of Program=Tommy S.

Many thanks to our new officers for stepping up to help, and a huge thank you to Ayden, Edward, and the two other officers who helped over the past year!
---Griffin

2017 W3S Conclave

April 24-26th, 2017, Camp Lehi

Although attendance from our lodge was low, the Conclave was still eventful. The many activities ranged from slingshots to tomahawk throwing to sand painting. After eating dinner at In-N-Out burger on Friday night, the group pitched their tents and got set up. The next day, breakfast was served and training sessions started. They included blacksmithing, patch design, and learning about guns. After lunch, there were the competition events mentioned earlier. Each lodge went against the others in a friendly competition until a steak dinner was served. Later, everyone went to the central campfire to do skits and elections for the next section chief. By Sunday morning, everyone was ready to head home.
---Edward
